Coming Soon.................On line and to a book store near you!

The beneficial effect of a face-lift or facial surgery is that it last about five years. Then you have to get it done again. Eventually the surgeon has very little to work with!

Muscles and connective tissue are challenged through Denise’s Facial Exercise muscle exercises. The skin tightens up and wrinkles smooth out and disappear.  Muscles properly toned and facial exercises performed in the right combination gives a powerful, elegant and balanced build to the face. It is amazing!  It's a natural non-surgical face lift! You actually regain that dynamic look of youth! Through proper exercises you can strengthen and develop the face and neck muscles so that the face can be firmed and reshaped to achieve a younger healthier look. Body builders develop specific muscles and by the same methods specific facial feature can be developed and toned by doing Denise's facial exercises she has created. So if you want to give yourself a natural non-surgical face lift this book is for you!

Keeping Facial Expression for Beauty

Apparently, the reason facial injections work is because they prevent the muscle from moving. So logic says that if exercising the face creates wrinkles is true, then people who never move their faces should be in the best shape and be the most beautiful? Obviously, this is not the case.  In all fairness, I think those using facial injections are purporting a completely paralyzed face, but still, we all have seen these frozen-looking, unlined "expensive" faces and found ourselves involuntarily turning away.  It's just a tad bit too unnatural looking for many of us.

One of my dear friends who have tried the facial injection said her problem with facial injections was, “as much as I looked younger I felt I lost something in my face...some character...even some beauty perhaps.  A real disaster for a Model! That's why I'm so much happier with your face exercises Denise”

My Facial Exercises and Beauty Techniques are risk free and a small price to pay for big results that last much longer.
Many plastic surgeries and facial injections have resulted in paralysis and even life threatening! In short and to put it eloquently, just too much risks to go on.........

Chapter I: What You Really Need to Know

Signs of Aging

This is the big one. It can't be stopped but it can be slowed down. It is best defined by the things that speed it up:

Chronic exposure to sun, cold, and wind.

Genetic predisposition - but genes are not necessarily destiny.

           Prolonged psychological stress.

           Chronic disease

Dramatic changes in weight - bulimia, anorexia.

The image we see in the mirror not only defines us to ourselves; it defines us to the world. But perhaps notions about traditional good looks are changing. These days a mobile, expressive face is more attractive than one of cool, aristocratic perfection. Many of the actors with classic faces who were in the movies of the 1930s now seem almost embarrassingly superficial.

A stranger who wants to know another person’s age can either ask for identification or look at the person’s face, and the latter is less intrusive and almost as accurate. People are able to determine age from the face with surprising accuracy, to within a few years when the person judged is between 20 and 60, a skill that develops early in life when even babies can distinguish children from adults. One of the sad facts of life is that as you get older, things about your body are naturally going to change. One of the most noticed things is that people will get wrinkles on their face. Look at all of the Hollywood celebrities, and you’ll hear for yourself (or in most cases, you’ll be able to see) that they have had “work” done to improve their image..............

The saying of “where the mind goes the body will follow” is very true, and this exercise will help you train your mind to visualize yourself, your relationships and your surroundings as perfect, which will positively influence your life.

While doing this exercise, do not feel a sense of urgency to achieve the desired result – your body and actions will follow your mind at the right time. Do however feel that you are in control of your surroundings and body.
After you have let the image fade from your mind, start consciously feeling your body as it is lying on the floor, and feel the energy washing over you from your feet to your scalp – in the same way that you did when you relaxed.
When your body feels totally energized, you can get up. Get up slowly and enjoy the relaxed way you are now feeling.
Many people have benefited from visualizing and concentrations – gives it a try and see what you can achieve. You should do these exercises at least once a day.

<!--[if !vml]-->What Makes a Face Attractive?

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind, and it is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions, and a predominance of courage over timidity. Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old by deserting their ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm, wrinkles the soul.

Worry, doubt, self distrust, fear and despair, these are the long years that bow the head, and turn the growing spirit back, whether seventy or sixteen there is in every being's heart the love of wonder and sweet amazement.
You are as young as your faith, as old as your fear. As long as your heart receives messages of beauty, cheer, courage, grandeur, and power - from the earth, from man and from the Infinite so long are you young. People within a given culture agree among themselves about what faces are attractive and what makes them attractive. They may disagree with people in other cultures about certain attributes of beauty, but much of what is considered attractive is shared across cultures. These largely universal characteristics of facial beauty are considered in more detail here. General characteristics of faces that contribute to beauty include symmetry; facial features are mirrored across the vertical mid-line of the face. Slight imperfections in symmetry are probably not significant; rather, large deviations easily perceived, such a crooked mouth, deviated nose, or one eye too small, disrupt the perception of beauty......

Attractiveness of the face is correlated with other dimensions, including: baby-face-ness especially for females; youthfulness of the face, especially for mature adults; familiarity of the face; certain attributions about personality to the person behind the face. These and other correlations show that judgments of attractiveness are influenced by related kinds of judgments observers make about the face, even ones unrelated to physical aspects of the face...........

How Your Attractiveness Affect the Impressions and Behavior of Others? Mere physical attractiveness exerts a generally positive influence on the attitudes and behaviors of observers, an effect known as the attractiveness halo. An opposite, negative halo for especially unattractive faces also exists. Psychologists have a range of opinion about how strong the attractiveness halo is. Unfortunately, this sub-area of social psychology contains some of its most flawed research and poorest thinking, pathetic even for this motley field and no definitive statement can yet be made. Their conclusion is that while appearance may affect behaviors in artificial or trivial circumstances, there is little evidence that it has important effects in real life. They also discuss how this halo effect may depend upon the characteristics of the perceiver, where the weak minded may be influenced more than those with sharper wits.

One of the myths of contemporary culture is that attractiveness is the key to success – anyone can become materially, psychologically, and socially happy once a certain level of attractiveness is achieved. It is safe to say that many people act as though they believe in the truth of this proposition in their attempts to improve their appearance. Vast industries, such as entertainment and media, personal services, medical services, and cosmetic products, promote this view in order to sell products.

Huge sums are spent by advertisers who rely on attractive people to sell their products, rather than substance Research. Attractive spokespersons for products are able to bolster interest in an advertisement and even to boost a positive attitude towards it, but are generally unable to affect one’s opinion about the product or the inclination to buy it. Although people agree on the desirability of more attractive people as marital partners, the evidence shows that they select mates who are similar to their own level of attractiveness. This issue is more complex than space here allows a good explanation, but in general, unless the issue is trivial or the person lacks intellectual capacity, attractiveness alone is not likely to influence any other person significantly, except perhaps in regard to sexual attraction..............

Facial Expression Has Many Messages and Multiple Sources

The expression of a given face at a specific time is conveyed by a composite of signals from several sources of facial appearance. These sources include the general shape, orientation (pose), and position of the head, the shapes and positions of facial features ( eyes, mouth), coloration and condition of the skin, shapes of wrinkles, folds, and lines, and so forth. Some of these sources are relatively fixed; others, more changeable. The most important source of change in facial expression is the set of muscular movements produced by facial muscles, which provide the most substantial changes in facial appearance over short time durations and contribute most to nonverbal communication by the face. Other shorter term origins that may contribute to expressions are blood flow and glandular secretions. As a generalization, muscular activity contributes expressive variation on a background of more slowly changing or static expressive sources. These latter sources include the sizes, positions, and shapes of fleshy tissues, hair, teeth, cartilage, and bones..........

Multiple Messages in Nonverbal Communication

Corresponding to the several sources of expressive information in the face are the many nonverbal communication messages that the face can provide. Some of these messages are validly related to characteristics of the person behind the face, some are fabrications of the viewer unrelated to the real person, and others lie somewhere between these two extremes. Much of the research on the face is centered on discovering the messages that fit into these different categories. Another perspective on the range of facial messages is to consider objective description, such as a list of physical anatomical measurements, as an anchor for veridical information, and ever more abstract generalizations or inferences about characteristics more remote from these specific observations becoming increasingly difficult to verify...................

Chapter II: Denise’s Amazing  Facial Exercises

I have studied the anatomy and physiology of the face in depth. I know what works to keep the face looking young and healthy. Although there might be some people that do not believe that facial exercises works, the fact remains that many people have experienced the benefit, as they help tone the skin and encourage firmness in a sagging face.

The purpose of the exercises is to develop a pleasing facial expression; my facial exercises will not distort the face in any way. The exercises if done at least a five times a week, ten to fifteen minutes a session, will give a natural and permanent lifting of the muscles and skin of the face - things that give a person confidence after a morning look in the mirror. The workout exercises are natural, non-invasive for improving the face and the front of the neck...........

Notice the photo on the left. This woman has transformed her face with my amazing facial exercises.

Her left side is before – Her right side is after. Many people have told her she looks 10+ yrs younger.

I would just have to say my exercise program is a non-surgical face lift targeting all 57 muscles of the face and neck.  My exercises work by increasing muscle fibbers through muscle resistance exercising, the principle behind all muscle-building exercises. Your cheeks lift and fill out; your face becomes firm and fit. Your double chin disappears; even the neck exercises build your muscles so that you create lift and firmness around the entire jaw line, as well!  It's a complete facial skin care treatment!  And it's all natural! Denise’s Facial Exercises is recommended in conjunction with Emahni Skin Care Products so your skin can obtain maximum results and a more vibrant looking you. Emahni Skin Care Products

Unlike the skeletal muscles of the body, the facial muscles are directly attached to the skin that covers them. (They are also attached to other facial muscles and to bone.) When these facial muscles start to lose their tone and elasticity because of age and gravity, the skin that is attached to them starts to sag. This of course gives the look you don't want to see reflected back to you in the mirror.

But these exercises are not for women whose idea of self-improvement is to pop a multivitamin pill or facial injections into the muscles of the cheeks and forehead. The facial exercise program that I advocate will require some dedication, some persistence - some work. I guarantee you will get results from exercises and techniques and you'll like what you see in the mirror after even several days.  Many people ask how get rid of a double chin. The Platysma muscle is the surface muscle that covers the neck. By using this facial exerciser you will be exercising this muscle which in return shapes the neck and will tighten double chins.

Although a great skincare regimen is essential for keeping your face looking as young as possible, doing facial exercises holds great benefit for both men and women, to help tone up aging / sagging face muscles and to tone the skin.

Never mind how good your skin care regimen is, or the skin care product you use, you still need facial exercises to maintain the base muscles of your skin. In the same vein - facial exercises do not negate the use of skin care products - these two disciplines go hand-in-hand - and for a truly ageless look, both must be used together.................

Ethnicity: Is Beautiful, Beware

Forget the old-school stereotypes, like black skin’s always oily. There’s little about African-American skin that is safely assumed, except that it can be supersensitive its pigmentation, called melanin, may rebel against the wrong products by developing a discoloration that can stick around for months or years.

Take these skin-safe tips to heart. I advise following these rules to preserve your dark skin’s smooth, rich tone:

Ethnic Skin: Is It Any Different? Dermatologists Say “Definitely.............

  • Stick With a Simple and Safe Skin Care Routine, Emahni skin Care Products.
Cleanse your face daily as little as once a day if it’s dry, up to three times if your goal is to remove excess oil. Gentle treatment is the key for any skin type; avoid abrasive cleansers or irritating cleansing puffs. Use Emahni moisturizer if your face feels dry without it.

Testimonials; from customers who have tried my facial exercises and Beauty Techniques

I was curious about face exercises? A while back someone took a picture of me while I was unaware. When I saw it I was quite surprised at how old I looked. My face was relaxed and I was not smiling in the picture so this was just me, how I really looked without the benefit that a smile brings to the face or even good lighting. Needless to say I was quite disappointed with my appearance.

I have always thought I would not do face lifts or botox, the idea of either needles or surgery sends shivers through me. I had the idea that I would age naturally and gracefully by taking good care of my skin and protecting it from the sun. And for the most part it has paid off. I think my skin looks pretty good, not many wrinkles. the worst being the frown lines between my eyes from years of sinus headaches.

But that picture showed sagging skin around my mouth and chin. I have jowls, they run in the family (I do hate that word, jowls) and to me that is more aging than wrinkles. I found myself wondering if there was something I could do that was affordable and less invasive. I started doing Denise’s facial exercises and using her skin care line Emahni Products. I now have smoother firmer looking skin and love myself even more now, than ever! Sandy

Emahni Skin Care Astringent Toner is a skin tightening and astringent toner that will help control skin problems, while at the same time tightening and reducing pore size. It will soothe and reduce the ruddy complexion associated with inflamed skin, softening and protecting the skin. It also helps cool and calm the skin, but it will also refresh and purify the skin, while helping to balance and control the oil production of the skin, therefore effective on both overly oily skin as well as dry sensitive skin. With this in mind it will help prevent shiny skin as well as dry flaky skin. Emahni Astringent Toner is a gentle face astringent toner that helps keep skin radiant ready to receive the benefits of your beauty treatments. After washing your face, apply a small amount onto the face and neck. Ideal to use before doing your facial exercise, application of makeup or treatments. Use only as directed.

Emahni Skin Care Exfoliation Scrub this is one of the most important things we can do for aging skin. The older we get our skin becomes slower at creating new cells which give our skin a younger smoother look. When we exfoliate our skin we help remove the dead skin cells on the surface and encourage our skin to more rapidly create new cells for a more youthful appearance. Designed for removing dead skin cells. Use only as directed.

Emahni Skin Care Moisturizer Lotion Once all those dead skin cells are removed your skin is ready for moisture to keep those new cells plumped up. Emahni Moisturizer Anti-Aging Lotion made from natural ingredients can be an important part of any natural anti-aging skin care routine to help diminish fine lines and wrinkles and even to firm and tighten the skin.........
